- The Child Life Specialist is responsible for providing patient care services for infants, toddlers, school-age children, adolescents, and their families.
- Opportunities to provide care in the following departments: NICU, ER, Surgical Services/Peri-Op, Acute Care- Renal/Rehab/Dialysis
- Baccalaureate or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Child Life, Child Development, Child & Family Studies, Psychology, or a related field that meets the criteria for a Certified Child Life Specialist.
- Master's Degree in Child Life, Child & Family Development, Psychology, or related field.
- Must be a certified child life specialist (CCLS - per the Certifying Commission and Association for Child Life Professionals guidelines and requirements) or eligible and must obtain certification within one year of hire.
