- Reporting to the Executive Director and partnering with the Deputy Director (DD), the COO will drive administration and operations to support Ariadne's continued evolution from start-up to established and deeply impactful health systems innovator.
- Founded in 2012, Ariadne Labs is a joint center for health systems innovation at Brigham & Women's Hospital (BWH) and the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health (HSPH).
- They have full leadership and supervisory responsibility for: the development and execution of Ariadne's financial management strategy; oversight of financial operations (operations and grant accounting, procurement, budget planning and monitoring); and development and execution of a revenue growth strategy (from philanthropic, foundation, government, and private sector sources) including development and management of business partnerships and related contracts.
- The COO also manages the communications and development teams as well as Ariadne's three platforms - centers of expertise that provide expert guidance and support to every project in the fields of informatics, statistics, implementation science, monitoring and evaluation, quality improvement, strategic communications, and program management.
- The COO has a core charge to maintain strong and vital relationships with Ariadne's parent institutions (HSPH and BWH) to ensure compliance with their policies and procedures, and will occasionally represent Ariadne Labs to external partners and funders.
