- The Chief Nursing Officer functions as a member of the Jennie Melham M. Memorial Medical Center (JMMMMC) Senior Leadership team to provide direction, strategy, business development, budgeting, trend variance analysis and information technology for the promotion of outcomes focused nursing care treatment and services.
- The CNO has 24-hour accountability and responsibility for planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating nursing care treatment and services.
- Reports to the President/CEO.
- Oversees the daily operations of Nursing and Clinical Services (medical surgical, medical-surgical pediatrics, SWING, Emergency Services (ED, Trauma), Cardiopulmonary Services (RT, Sleep Lab, Pulmonary Rehab, Outpatient RT testing), Case Management (UR & Social work), Outpatient Ambulatory Nursing Services (Infusion Center, Specialty Clinics, Cardiac Rehab, Diabetic Education) and Surgical Services (Pre-assessment, SDS Pre/post, Surgery, Central Sterile Processing).
- A. Graduate of School of Nursing; BSN or BA required; MSN preferred.
