This is the heartbeat of our organization and your time will be spent in a supportive, team environment with resources to help you flourish and leaders who care about your success. Responsible for a continuum of treatment by providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education and training in activities in daily living under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of thepatient. Participates in professional responsibilities, including documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills.

Qualifications:
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: <ul><li>Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program</li><li>Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred. Ability to perform basic treatments of orthopedic, neurological, medical, and psychiatric patients. Basic splinting knowledge, preferred Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred</li><li>Occupational Therapy Assistant (Department of Regulatory Agencies)</li><li>BLS</li></ul> Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly This PRN COTA role will have consistent 2 days a week with additional hours as needed.  We are looking for someone with prior outpatient experience to handle our growing caseload.

Pay Range:
$22.74 - $37.19 / hour
