- Job Description OverviewThe Certified Nursing Assistant I provides Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of daily living (IADLs) as assigned in an individual’s care plan.
- Care is generally provided in the home, however, transportation, errands, and escort services may also be assigned as designated in an individual’s care plan.
- The CNA I may also provided skilled tasks that requires special training and competencies that a Personal Care Attendant cannot provide.
- Position is responsible for providing services as assigned by the RN Field Supervisor in accordance with the individual’s approved service plan.
- The Certified Nursing Assistant I is required to report any deviations in an individual’s functional or medical condition to the appropriate agency personnel.
