Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Prioritizing comfort while assisting Residents in achieving their highest level of function</li>
<li>Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)</li>
<li>Monitoring vital signs to include temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure</li>
<li>Maintaining a safe environment and assisting with fall-risk precautions</li>
<li>Interdepartmental communications within care team</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must be a Certified Nursing assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon</li>
<li>Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in service education</li>
<li>Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.</li>
<li>Recent education or clinical hours are required.</li>
<li>You need to be at least 18 years old.</li>
<li>Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry</li>
</ul>
