Vital Signs Monitoring: Record and report patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate. Mobility Assistance: Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning, ensuring safety and comfort. Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a compassionate and caring environment. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patient care activities, changes in condition, and interactions. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Adherence to Protocols: Follow established protocols, procedures, and safety guidelines in delivering care. Acute Care Specific Duties: In acute care settings, assist with procedures, wound care, and other medical interventions as directed by healthcare providers. Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to relay important information and provide updates on patient progress.Qualifications:Valid CNA certification/license in the state. High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in LTC and/or Acute Care settings is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly. Understanding of basic medical terminology and procedures.
