  • Summary We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to focus on onboarding/implementation and offboarding/transition of affiliated entity, organization, or group onto the AAH lines of business.
  • This will require understanding our payer business service offerings as a managed services administrator, and provider (clinical) service offerings.
  • Additionally, the BSA needs to understand the suite of systems, applications, and processes that AAH utilizes to onboard the affiliated entity, organization, or group.
  • Thus, the BSA needs to have a demonstrated ability to understand concepts and logically and/or conceptually piece these together for a coherent understanding of requirements, dependencies, and sequencing.
  • This may include understanding state-specific regulatory/compliance-related requirements.
  • BSA is expected to have project management and coordination responsibilities due to the highly collaborative nature of our work and operational processes.
  • This includes task management (self and team members) to ensure that plan of action is in place and executing to completion, record-keeping of action items, issues and risks, facilitation of status meetings, etc.
  • This BSA will focus on payer and provider (clinical) services onboarding/implementation into and offboarding/transition from various systems and applications.
  • The BSA will engage with various subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the requirements (contractual, compliance, service agreement, etc.)
  • and other relevant factors to enable an entity, organization, or group to onboard onto or offboard from applicable AAH systems.
  • This may require discussions with the entity, organization, or group to provide the what/why and with technology team and contracted suppliers to understand the how.
  • The BSA will evolve our current processes for onboarding and offboarding to adapt to changes in our technology environment, as well as to improve on our set artifacts/documentation/templates for collaboration with impacted entity, organization, group.
  • The BSA will also collaborate with the technology team and its contracted suppliers to specify the request, track the delivery, verify/validate its fulfillment, and everything else required to complete the request.
  • As a managed services administrator for health plans, our suite of technology applications/products are data-driven and workflow-driven.
  • We develop and continue to develop (and enhance) our own product lines and utilize 3rd party software to enable delivery of services.
  • The BSA will be responsible for collecting, consolidating, and hashing through setup requirements for onboarding and ensure that the setup, testing, and other readiness factors are successfully completed to go into operational mode; and for offboarding and ensure that the transfer of data, documents, and other assets are completed to enable the receiving entity, organization, or group to be successful in their takeover operations.
  • The BSA may also work on conversion or migration projects with trading partners during cutover/conversion phases.
  • The BSA will create work plans/task lists and approaches that are thorough, appropriate, and compliant to standards and regulations at the federal and state level.
  • The BSA is expected to have technical project management and coordination responsibilities due to the highly collaborative nature of our work processes.
  • This includes task management (self and team members) to ensure that plans are in place and executing to completion, record-keeping of action items and issues lists, facilitation of status meetings, etc.
  • Responsibilities: Establish and maintain onboarding/implementation standards for connecting to the company's suite of systems, applications, and processes for consistent utilization across all onboarding/implementation activities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and other communications for publication/circulation on onboarding/implementation specifications to successfully connect to the company's suite of systems, applications, and processes.
  • Become the systems process expert on integration of entity, organization, or group's systems, applications, and processes into AAH to avoid or minimize duplication of work.
  • Become the Systems Lead during onboarding/implementation projects.
  • Become knowledgeable in the flow of information (data/documents/transactions/messages) through the AAH systems, applications, and processes to be able to understand workflow, inter-connectivity, dependencies, and sequencing.
  • Establish task list, action lists and issues/risks for assigned projects and track them on a timely basis.
  • Adhere to standards to ensure discipline and controlled changes to systems and applications.
  • Facilitate periodic status meetings with the project team (including sub-contractors) to track progress of the projects, track action items to completion, and manage risks and issues.
  • Participate in entity, organization, or group status meetings, managing the agenda and notes from the meeting and tracking action items, issues, and risks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
