- These duties will include but are not limited to answering the Business Office switchboard phone, posting payments and adjustments in the billing system, scanning documents, and distributing correspondence.
- Basic knowledge of the use and operation of general office equipment (i.e. phone, FAX, PC, and copier, scanner).
- Working knowledge of federal, state and local regulations, guidelines, and standards, including a working knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations preferred but not required.
- Experience with procedural requirements of third-party medical insurance payers preferred, but not required.
- Working knowledge of accounts receivable principles, procedures, and standards preferred, but not required.
