  • Description: JOB DESCRIPTION:Supports efforts to ensure that information systems support departmental objectives and information management needs.
  • Works closely with departmental customers to conduct business analysis and identify business objectives and requirements.
  • Collects information to assist in the development of technology plans and strategies.
  • Assists in planning and implementing systems related projects.
  • Supports customer satisfaction by monitoring the delivery of ongoing information services to designated clients.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Five years of position specific subject matter knowledge and/or experience in planning and applying information technology to one or more business functions ORBachelor's degree and three years of position specific subject matter knowledge and/or experience in planning and applying information technology to one or more business functions.
  • ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Strong technical and analytical skills required.
  • Experience supporting technology in a clinical, research, or health industry preferred.
  • Experience with business intelligence reporting/dashboarding and tools preferred.
  • Experience in design and development for data visualization using tools like Tableau and Power BI required.
  • Good understanding of database concepts and hands-on SQL programming preferred.
  • Knowledge of survey research methodology and platforms using tools like REDCap and Qualtrics preferred.
  • Familiarity with data governance and documentation initiatives preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication (including written and visual presentations) required.
  • NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.
  • Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion.
