  • The Department of Radiology at the Hofstra/Northwell School of Medicine isrecruiting for additional fellowship trained Body and/or Neuro Radiologists to join the Division of Emergency Radiology.
  • This isa full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.
  • The division is currently compromised of 15 faculty members covering off hours radiology for the systems tertiary hospitals and expanding community hospital network including three level I, two level II trauma centers, and a children's hospital.
  • Candidates would be expected to work a 7nights on, 14 days off schedule.
  • The Emergency Radiology division was established in 2011 and has rapidly grown as the health system and radiology department continue to expand in the greater NY area.
  • The Emergency Radiology division performs approximately 100,000 cross sectional examinations per year and provides in-house consultation for the emergency department, trauma team, and related specialty services.
  • Primary responsibilities for this position would include, but not limited to, diagnostic interpretation of imaging performed through the emergency department and urgent inpatient imaging including CT, US, MRI and plain films, as well as, clinical supervision of residents at our tertiary sites.
