BIM Coordinator Responsibilities:
Coordination and management of BIM processes: The BIM Coordinator coordinates and manages BIM processes, across a project or organization. This involves developing and maintaining a BIM Execution Plan (BxP) to document a clear path of progression in the company’s BIM standards and procedures. This also includes standardizing project workflows, managing Revit families and shared parameters, and implementing and maintaining software integrations, ensuring that BIM processes and software are utilized effectively and efficiently. The BIM Coordinator is also responsible for managing BIM file exchange and distribution.
Collaboration with project stakeholders: The BIM Coordinator works closely with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and owners, to identify BIM requirements and develop project-specific BIM protocols and standards. The BIM Coordinator will document project requirements in BIM Project Execution Plans (PxP) to align the design team’s efforts to meet each specific project’s needs and goals.
Conducting regular BIM coordination meetings: The BIM Coordinator conducts regular BIM coordination meetings to review project progress and identify and resolve issues. They also assist in the development of clash detection and resolution workflows.
Development and implementation of BIM strategies and standards: The BIM Coordinator develops and implements BIM strategies and standards. They also stay up-to-date with emerging BIM technologies and trends.

Required Skills and Experience:
2-5 years’ experience in architectural, engineering or construction (AEC) industry
Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit
Proficiency using Autodesk AutoCAD
Working Knowledge of Navisworks clash detection
Be self-motivated with strong work ethic
