- Status: ExemptWorking Conditions: The Behavioral Therapist and Assessment Specialist will maintain an office with computer and other equipment necessary to complete tasks.
- Position Summary: The Behavioral Therapist and Assessment Specialist completes initial assessment and treatment plans, and individual therapeutic counseling for Therapeutic Mentoring clients (ages 5 to 19).
- The BTAS will work as part of the Therapeutic Mentoring management team including: Regional Director, Mentor Coordinator, Education Specialist for Therapeutic Mentoring, and Lead Therapeutic Mentor.
- Working knowledge of curriculum, instruction and ability to work on team of professionals.
- Must be willing to undergo initial and periodic child abuse/neglect, criminal history, sexual offender, and childcare/elder care disqualification list screenings.
