- Provide instruction and guidance to students with Autism and/or other autistic like behaviors; implement projects, practices and strategies to achieve individual Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals; assure activities comply with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report student progress daily regarding behavior and performance; assist students and parents with implementation of IEP training and programs through instruction in a variety of activities; behavioral supports to provide guidance for students in various areas including critical life skills, play skills; pre-academic learning, physical development, social communication and personal hygiene.
- Perform routine first aid including emergency treatment of children experiencing seizures or respiratory problems, orthopedic distress and pulmonary conditions; maintain daily documentation of specialized physical health care services and procedures as assigned.
- Only certifications provided by American Heart Association, American Red Cross or District approved provider for First Aid, Adult/Child CPR and AED will be accepted.
