- Under general direction of the Behavioral Health Services Assistant Director, to oversee a program of the Behavioral Health Services Department; to plan, organize, direct, and manage functional areas such as: mental health, alcohol and drug, children's services, adult services managed care, administration (including but not limited to personnel, budget, contracts, accounting, purchasing, and facilities) and/or other Department programs; and to do related work as required.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a PhD in Psychology or a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Counseling, Public Health Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration or a closely related field.
- Must possess a current license to practice as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Clinical Counselor
- Possession of, or ability to obtain by date of appointment, a valid California Driver's License issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
