- Responsibilities: Provide direct services in all behavioral health programs, which include, but are not limited to mental health counseling, substance abuse/addictions, elder care, admissions, emergency preparedness and other special programs and projects.
- Promotes public education and awareness by taking part in presentations before community groups emphasizing mental health programs as directed by Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Services Director Provides crisis/suicide intervention by agency-provided telephone after hours on rotation with coworkers and with supervisor support.
- Paid Personal Time – 40 hours annually, complies with Illinois Paid Leave Act. Group Health Insurance – Blue Cross/Blue Shield, HMO & PPO options available for employee & family members.
- Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) Pension Plan with voluntary additional contributions.
- Eligible to receive an IMRF regular plan pension (vesting) after 10 years of service.
