  • The Bar Manager position models integration of Teatro ZinZanni Woodinville LLC vision and upholds impeccable values in performance of daily restaurant duties and operations in a live, fast paced theatrical environment.
  • Works under Restaurant General Manager supervision in overseeing bar operations encompassing beverage menu creation, beverage and bar supply purchasing, storage, preparation, presentation, minimization of waste, supervision of bar staff and assists with restaurant operations.
  • Accountable for achieving budgeted costs for beverage products.
  • Teatro ZinZanni Woodinville presents a full evening of entertainment, combining cirque artists, European cabaret, contortionists, jugglers and illusionists with live music and a gourmet multi-course meal.
  • Set in an antique jewel box tent imported from Belgium, our newest show “Hollywood and Vine” will be performed at our new location in Woodinville.
  • Responsible for daily bar operations from set up to end of day of a 285 seat capacity performance venue that requires beverage production in synchronic rapport to a show order timeline
  • Responsible for actively supporting restaurant operations pre, during, and post show with strong floor presence and a focus on beverage service as well as monitoring consumption
  • Responsible, under General Manager supervision, for beverage menu: creation, costing, testing, purchasing, and execution
  • Responsible for participating in all ongoing beverage-centric research
  • Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the bar operations are compliant with applicable government regulations at all times
  • Responsible for creating and monitoring cleaning and maintenance schedule of all bar equipment and bar storage areas
  • Responsible for attending and participating in restaurant operational meetings and preparing a weekly summary
  • Responsible for compiling daily Bar Performance Report
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required
  • Responsible, under General Manager supervision, for participating in analysis and preparation of annual budget
  • Responsible for ongoing monitoring and analysis of product performance and waste control reports
  • Responsible for creating, documenting, coding and maintaining order processes using TZ beverage management software
  • Responsible for monitoring and adjusting beverage cost and maintaining
  • Responsible for executing and documenting ongoing physical inventory using TZ beverage management software
  • Bar Staff Management
  • Responsible for bar staff performance according to TZ vision and guidelines throughout show (coaching and supervising beverage execution, processing of guests arrival and top of show, course service and end of show
  • Responsible for seamless communication and interaction between bar staff and the rest of restaurant staff as well as production staff
  • Responsible for preparing day-to-day beverage upselling assignments for the bar and floor staff as well as communicating and monitoring performance for these assignments *works with Assistant Restaurant Manager

  • Responsible for creating bar staff attendance and duties schedules (daily, weekly and monthly), and all communications pertaining to these schedules (call offs, on calls, schedule limitations, vacation requests etc.)

  • Responsible for bar staff overall work presence and attendance; leads and monitors bar staff during pre-show activities and process (work load, efficiency, punctuality, observance of dressing-up process, crew meal process, punctuality and roll call for daily restaurant staff meeting and post-show activities and process (end of show service patterns, operational clean up, service staff end of shift procedures and staff departure, etc.)
  • Responsible for working with Restaurant General Manager toward establishing accurate and efficient systems of interaction and delivery of information between bar, kitchen and production and show floor
  • Responsible to establish, codify and maintain beverage service standards.
  • Such standards will include: details of beverage course service, beverage service patterns, efficiency, loss prevention, sales techniques, general presentational and demeanor, side work etc.
  • In collaboration with Assistant Restaurant Manager, Production Manager and BSM staff, trains and coaches bar staff to adhere, deliver and interact correctly with performers and overall beverage sequence of nightly show
  • Responsible for creating staff training modules; determines staff training schedules and tracks progress for existing and new employees
  • Responsible for compiling data from daily Bar Performance Report and providing ongoing suggestions for improving service standards and staff development
  • Works with Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure outstanding guest experience during operations (strong hospitality presence on show floor from welcome to departure)
  • Works with Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager to supervise group sales activity (guest arrival, seating, service, and departure)
  • Works with Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager toward timely resolution of guest issues
  • Works with Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager toward maintaining front of house cleanliness and safety programs
