Associate Learning Manager - Remote Position
- As the Associate Learning Manager on the Connections | Partner Support | ZAT team, you will lead project intake, needs analysis, and the learning design process that supports our lines of business.
- This role leads a team of instructional designers who are particularly focused on innovative design that is learner-focused and data-driven.
- You will advise business leaders and identify the best strategies to grow and develop talent through comprehensive learning approaches.
- Own project intake for the team to review all requests for strategic and innovative opportunities.
- Oversee establishment and implementation of streamlined intake, needs analysis, and design processes that rely heavily on data and innovation.
- Lead instructional designers in developing and executing a scalable and comprehensive needs analysis process that blends data, human-centered design, and adult learning theory foundations.
- Establish and implement quantitative methods to inform learning design through partnership with the L&D Operations team, L&D Managers, and other relevant data partners.
- Collaborate with the Learning Manager and instructional designers to pioneer the use of new learning methodologies and technologies through close monitoring of trends in adult learning, remote learning and digital learning strategies.
- Partner closely with business leaders, product, operations, and quality teams to stay uniquely informed of business priorities and trends.
- Ensure timely review and feedback on all learning design documents and hold all project partners accountable to design quality standards.
- Construct learning evaluation and assessment approaches that clearly illuminate learning needs, training gaps, successes, and opportunities.
- Synthesize and contextualize relevant evaluation findings for the team, partners, and other L&D teams.
- Own execution and share-out of measurement strategy for gauging learner and business impact of learning solutions.
- Lead instructional designers in architecture of pilots of new learning tools, evaluation methods, and modalities.
- Work with Learning Manager to proactively identify strategic collaboration opportunities and create business cases to influence adoption.
- Collaborate with Implementation Lead to achieve seamless handoff through design, development, and delivery phases.
- Collaborate with Trainers who own project development to ensure adherence to quality standards, and to provide support for innovative learning modalities in test.
- Demonstrate commitment to employees success, career development, and personal goals by seeking out opportunities for them to grow, learn, and continuously improve.
- Coach and manage assigned team members through weekly 1:1s, structured individual development plans, and accountable goal setting exercises.
- Review instructional designers design deliverables and provide clear and measurable feedback.
- Hold all team members accountable for the design of high-quality learning solutions that are innovative and drive strategic business objectives.
- Develop and maintain successful, collaborative working relationships with leaders across multiple lines of business.
- Solicit and capture ongoing feedback from business leaders and partners.

- Remote employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company.
- Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions.
- In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
- Bachelors degree in business, organizational development, education, HR or a related field or equivalent demonstrated experience
- 3+ years professional experience working in a fast-paced, agile learning and development organization
- Strategic problem solver with ability to quickly make sense of information, identifying risks and potential resolutions.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written and executive presentation)
- Effective problem-solving ability, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Relationship management including the ability to collaborate, communicate and influence equally well within all levels.
- Able to effectively manage multiple, competing projects and priorities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite products and other L&D technology tools, LMS, Content Management, Adobe Suite and Rise
- Able to travel up to 15%
- Bachelor or Graduate degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, or related field
- 1+ years experience managing a team and 2+ years experience working with senior leaders in a cross-functional organization
- Experience managing and coaching remote employees
- Experience deploying virtual classroom strategies
