  • Our Real World Data and Advanced Analytics team has seen exceptional growth and success, and we are looking for an individual with demonstrated leadership, biopharma industry experience and strong problem solving and communication skills to join us as an Associate Director.
  • The professional in this role must possess and demonstrate a passion for supporting new business, accountability for revenue targets and budgets, cultivating key client relationships, and identifying opportunities to enhance and grow current business in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sectors.
  • Location: Hoboken, New Jersey.
  • Reporting directly to the Practice Leader, implement real world data analytics projects for pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology clients
  • Work with project teams to identify data needs, sources, and structure to support client issues problem solving
  • Manage (and train) a team of analysts and be responsible for all deliverables generated from the team
  • Mentor a team of analysts by teaching how to develop and complete more complex analyses
  • Conduct retrospective analysis by implementing study design and statistical methods using established software (e.g. SAS, Excel)
  • Design cost-benefit analyses and program evaluations using statistical tools like SAS, Microsoft Excel, SQL, and others
  • Conduct research through application of rigorous and impartial data collection, analysis, and reporting and use of quantitative and/or qualitative techniques.
  • Interpret and summarize quantitative and qualitative findings in reports and presentations to inform and guide clients' research endeavors
  • Interact with various stakeholders in the form of focus groups, interviews, and surveys
  • Interface with clients to design health economics and outcomes research studies, protocols, economic models, predictive and advanced analytics, observational research, reports, and publications
  • Lead assigned analyses/projects as directed by management by keeping project team members updated on the status of assigned tasks
  • Four + years of healthcare data analytics experience in a professional services firm focusing on Healthcare & Life sciences
  • Proficiency in SAS and statistical methods as well as the ability to generate statistical analysis plans
  • Bachelors degree in a technical or quantitative field from an accredited college or university; Masters, MPH or PhD degree preferred
  • Analyzing large and complex healthcare data (Claims, EMR and Registry Data), including a demonstrated thorough aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Significant experience working with analytical models and visualization techniques and tools
  • Advanced analytics techniques (regression, simulation, etc.)
  • Identifying and addressing client needs, building relationships with clients, developing requests for proposals
  • Prioritizing and handling multiple tasks
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a highly dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical data analysis results to business people, as well as communicate quantitative challenges and issues to technical people
  • Experience developing scientific communications
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute positively in a team environment
  • Desire to continually learn how to use new technology, applications, and methodologies
