  • Ability to work in office but also spend adequate time in field and understand what is being built
  • Ability to manage and schedule deliveries from suppliers
  • Ability to schedule and coordinate subcontractors
  • Daily installation quantity record keeping
  • Daily start and stop station recording for record drawings
  • Equipment hour tracking
  • Meeting with subcontractors and suppliers on site
  • Attending any necessary field meetings
  • May be asked to step in and run a small crew or take on and manage small field projects
  • Heavy Highway Construction
  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
  • #Candidates must have 3+ years experience as a Project Engineer or Asst. Project Manager with experience on TxDOT projects.
