- Position Details Position DescriptionThe University of Washington (UW) Division of General Pediatrics (Department of Pediatrics), in collaboration with the Center for Child Health, Behavior, and Development (CCHBD) at Seattle Children’s Research Institute (SCRI), invites applications for a full-time pediatric environmental health faculty position as Assistant Professor WOT (without tenure due to funding) on the Faculty-Scientist track.
- This position will specialize in child environmental health and epidemiology with an emphasis on one or more of the following topics: endocrine disrupting chemicals, diet/nutrition, social and environmental disparities, climate change, data science, intervention research, and policy/translation.
- Faculty in the UW Division of General Pediatrics are dedicated clinicians, educators, and researchers who advance child health (55 faculty), with research and clinical connections to Seattle Children’s, Harborview Medical Center, Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic, and other clinical sites.
- SCRI partners with the University of Washington Department of Environmental Occupational Health Sciences within the School of Public Health, the Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, and several prominent biotechnology institutions.
- The base salary range for this position will be: Assistant Professors MD/DO $12,010 - $18,014 per month ($144,120 - $216,168 annually), Assistant Professors PhD $10,417 - $12,917 per month ($125,004 - $155,004 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
