- Required License/Registration/Certification CRC (eligible) and Kentucky LPCC (eligible) Job Summary The Counselor Education Program in the Department of Early Childhood, Special Education, and Counselor Education (EDSCE) in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a regular title series, assistant professor position in Counselor Education.
- The Counselor Education Program is a social justice focused program with specialties in rehabilitation counseling and in clinical mental health counseling for distance learning at the master’s level, counselor education and supervision at the doctoral level, and interdisciplinary disability studies at the undergraduate level.
- The counselor education programs are CACREP-accredited.
- The individual chosen for this position must meet the following minimum criteria:An earned doctoral degree from a CACREP-accredited Counselor Education or Rehabilitation Counseling program by start date.
- Certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) or demonstrate eligibility prior to start date.
