- Summary The Departments of Pediatrics and Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine are seeking a full-time clinical pain psychologist at the rank of Assistant Professor, non-tenured, Clinician-Educator focus.
- This position will hold a primary faculty appointment in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pediatric Anesthesiology and a secondary faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Psychology at Baylor College of Medicine.
- The primary focus of this position will be provision of clinical services for children at Texas Children's Hospital with chronic pain, providing individual and family-oriented interventions.
- Primary responsibilities include a clinical commitment focusing on the interdisciplinary outpatient pain clinic and future participation of in-patient pain rehabilitation program, and providing both didactic and clinical instruction to trainees rotating through the pain service.
- Candidates must demonstrate evidence of training and interest in pediatric pain medicine, have expertise in pain focused cognitive-behavioral therapy, and be eligible for State of Texas psychology licensure.
