- Here at Rockingham County, NH, we service our local community through efforts at our County Attorney’s Office, Registry of Deeds, Sheriff’s Office, Department of Corrections, Finance Office, Human Resources, Nursing Home, Assisted Living Community, and Facilities Operations.
- The Assistant Director of Long Term Care Services supports the Senior Director of Long Term Care Services in overseeing the management, operations, and clinical aspects of the Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center/Ernest P. Barka Assisted Living Community in compliance with all Federal, State, and County policies, rules, regulations, and statutes.
- The Assistant Director of Long Term Care Services collaborates closely with the Senior Director to create, implement, and maintain strategic plans and policies to ensure long-term viability of the community.
- Further, this position serves as the compliance officer & risk manager, and proactively works to ensure the quality/safety initiatives are developed through methods of continuous improvement, advocates for clinical quality and infection prevention, and coordinates/oversees the risk management program along with training & education compliance to focus on maximizing efficiency and performance improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Quality Improvement, Risk Management, or other closely related field of study; Master’s degree highly preferred.
