  • What will you be doing in this role:The EIS Applications Specialist II supports the implementation of various neurology, endoscopy, and radiation oncology enterprise imaging applications along with the integration of those systems.
  • Translates operational requirement into application functionality.
  • Independently manages a portfolio of medium scale and complexity work projects.
  • Ensures the discovery and technical design documentation of product requirements is completed.
  • Ensures the design and troubleshooting of interfaces is completed.
  • Ensures the development and execution of test plans are completed.
  • Coordinates and ensures the development and implementation of internal and client training programs are completed.
  • Performs intermediate level design, build, and implementation assignments/ projects for medical imaging applications.
  • Participates in re-engineering of operational work-flow processes with end-users/business owners and maintains working level understanding of assigned departmental operations.
  • Demonstrates technical proficiency in assigned imaging application area.
  • Independently manages navigation of migration paths, change control process/governance, and ticket management processes.
  • Provides high-level understanding of design integration and touch points with Epic modules and/or other applications as needed.
  • Maintains high standards for quality application design, build, testing, and other tasks; ensures adequate documentation is provided for support and end-user training.
  • Three (3)+ years of relevant healthcare information systems experience.
  • neurology, endoscopy, and radiation oncology experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and system analysis.
  • Educational/License/Certifications Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Biological Science, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related science.
