  • Fulfillment Planning (IFP) is part of North America Logistics and Operations group.
  • IFP team works with cross functional groups within and outside Logistics operations to drive integrated planning and optimize end to end product flow to serve the Marketplace.

  • Within North America Integrated Fulfillment Planning (IFP) in particular, the Analytics & Insights team is building new capabilities to operate an analytics driven logistics network to ensure Nike delivers an elevated experience to its customer and consumers.

  • The candidate needs to have following traits and skills
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and leads innovation and best practices to build analytical capabilities that can lead to pro-active planning of logistics network operations
  • Ability to sift through large amounts of data, identify critical information, develop hypotheses, apply relevant techniques to test those hypotheses, and quickly and consistently make recommendations
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and Tableau with familiarity in R, Cognos, or Python.
  • Experience with big data environments preferred but not required.
  • Generally strong technical and analytical abilities
  • Ability to effectively present information, tell stories with data, respond to questions from key collaborators
  • Experience, interest, and ability to working in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Ability to communicate sophisticated concepts to senior business audiences

  • Success will be measured by developing and driving adoption of new analytical capabilities which would enable pro-active planning, management and decision making of North America Logistics and Operations to meet the significant shifts and high growth in marketplace.
  • As the IFP Analytics and Insights Manager, you will be at the heart of the North America Consumer Direct Acceleration and Digital First Supply Chain at Scale Strategy.
  • You will deliver insights and new analytical capabilities through the strengths of your team, both to support strategic projects and ad-hoc analyses that can be translated into immediate business action.
  • You will use the current analytics tools and data to drive recommendations and identify business requirements for future analytical processes and tools.
  • You will continuously improve the customer and consumer experience through small scale pilots, experiments, and analyses.
  • Monitoring supply chain performance and enabling root cause analyses
  • Working with business process owners to improve forecasting capabilities through feedback loops, sensitivity analysis, and application of open source frameworks
  • Recommending inventory movements across the network to optimize service and improve multi-sourced inventory
  • Developing an analytics roadmap based on partner analysis and consumer needs
  • A typical day/week will involve x-functional partners to understand business needs, influencing to drive alignment and buy-in on new way of working, working with large datasets to test hypothesis, bringing external and objective PoV on the latest trends to influence new capability development, and leading a x-functional team to solve complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
  • This role will report directly to Director of Insights and Capabilities, IFP. In this role you will work alongside experienced analytics and supply chain professionals passionate about driving operational efficiency and better serving athletes*.
  • You will be working closely with functions including Planning, DC Operations, Technology, Transportation, Merchandising and Finance.
  • You will collaborate with Advanced Analytics teams as the end user of their products, and you will serve as a product manager for Analytics and Insights Team that maintains critical data architectures and develops analytical tools.
  • You will be on a team of data analysts that must collaborate to understand business problems and develop novel analytical approaches to solve them.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Business analytics or a similar quantitative field.
  • MBA or Masters of Science degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience with an emphasis on business reporting and analytics preferred.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team, with demonstrated interested in continuous learning and leadership development.
  • Critical thinking to solve sophisticated and large scale problems in ambiguous environment.
  • Experience in complex omnichannel supply chain operations and new capability development.
