- As a Hardware Design Engineer you will make impacts in the following ways; Design, developing and production following of state of the art electronics for advanced aircraft applications, including Jet Engine Control computers, Flight Control systems, Aircraft Electric Propulsion Systems, Cabin and Cockpit electronics.
- Engineers at our Endicott NY and Austin TX locations support the following two Business Area’s Controls & Avionics Solutions (CAS): In Controls & Avionics Solutions, you will have the opportunity to help define and develop the next generation of avionics – whether it is fly-by-wire flight controls, full authority digital engine controls, or power management & propulsion for future aircraft.
- Power & Propulsion Solutions (PPS): In Power & Propulsion Solutions, we’re involved with everything from providing efficient, power management on military vehicles to developing eco-friendly, hybrid and electric systems for the commercial world.
- Position will consist of design of analog interface circuitry used in advanced avionics electronics for both military and commercial aircraft, including Jet Engine Control computers, Flight Control systems, Aircraft Electric Propulsion Systems, Cabin and Cockpit electronics.
- Activities would include design, analysis and verification of analog circuits for interfaces such as RTD excitation and monitors, thermocouple monitors, strain gauge excitation and monitors, solenoid and relay drivers, torque motor and stepper motor drivers and monitors, battery management, and VDT excitations, demodulators, etc.
