- General Statement of Duties: The Airport Planning Manager assists the Director of Aviation overseeing the administration of grants, ensuring compliance with the FAA Airports District Office and other Federal Agencies, Budget, Advisory Circulars, and state and local laws.
- Coordinates with various internal departments and external stakeholders such as FAA, TSA, NTSB, Colorado Division of Aeronautics, USFS, FBI, and CDOT to ensure collaborative efforts and compliance with regulations.
- Administer the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) programs, promoting diversity and inclusion in airport contracting and concessions.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Airport Management, Business Administration, Engineering or Project Management.
- Experience: Five (5) years in Airport Development, Airport Administration, Airport Operations, Engineering or Project Management.
