- The Accounting Specialist is responsible for accounts receivable and payable, invoicing, general ledger, assisting in maintaining company financial records, coordinating with the Executive Director to meet financial obligations, completing payroll, monthly overall financial reporting, and assisting with day-to-day operations as assigned.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records by recording all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and revenue.
- Provide customer service related to accounts receivable and payable.
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, including bank account and credit card statements at each month end, quarter end and year end, subject to Executive Director review.
- Ensure employee and contractor information is current, complete, and accurate before each payroll cycle.
