- Job Description Seeking self-motivated individual to provide program support for recruiting, marketing, admissions, advising, evaluation, and other support related to academic programs (undergraduate and graduate) in Virginia Tech’s Department of Agricultural, Leadership, and Community Education.
- Academic Advisors are expected to possess extensive knowledge about academic programs, policies, procedures, and student support services within the scope of their responsibilities.
- Assist the department’s Undergraduate and Graduate Directors with academic program management such as data tracking, reports, class planning, and general institutional record keeping.
- Provide support to the First Year Experience and Senior Seminar courses as a component of academic advising.
- Required Qualifications Master's degree in a relevant field (agricultural education, agricultural communications, agricultural science, extension, education, etc.)
