We are a mix of experienced and new perfusionist who all have the same goal of improving the way we do perfusion.

The day to day for the perfusionist will be working on Cabg, valve, combo, aortic cases, TAVR, POC, IABP and very little ecmo that transports out.

We are looking for a Perfusionist to join our Team. You would be working in our Heart & Vascular Center with State of the Art Technology.

It is also the perfusionist’s responsibility to deliver the drug that stops the heart.

 In addition, the Cardiovascular Perfusionist should be knowledgeable and proficient in the use of Autologous Blood Salvaging and Point Of Care Testing.

The Perfusionist is expected to take part in ground transport of patients as part of the ECMO retrieval program.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: You will provide patient care within the scope of practice of the perfusion service.

Position Responsibilities Responsible for preparation of the heart-lung machine and any other equipment critical to the specific operation.

We offer advanced surgical solutions to treat atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valve disease and many other heart conditions.

Expert knowledge of at least 2 pieces of equipment: Heart Lung Machine, EMR, or any of the VAD’s professional development/Patient Experience Improvement

We perform over 800 heart surgeries per year to include CABGs, ECMO, and VADs. Our Artificial Heart programs is one of the most active of its kind.

This position requires being on call approximately 50% of the time and assumes the duties of the Chief Perfusionist in their absence.

The contractor must be able to set-up the heart lung machine within one hour after notification of the need for services.

Perfusionists also have ability to be involved with infant/pediatric heart surgery, progressive EMR, as well as Blood conservation therapy.

If not a certified cardiac perfusionist , eligible for certification, certification to be obtained prior to granting permanent employment.
