Hiring preference will be given to previous student participants in Beaver Connect, our partner programs, and those close to degree completion.

Mentors are matched with students who could benefit from having a caring adult role model they could meet with, in school on a regular basis.

The position is traditionally known as a job coach we feel Job Skills Mentor is also a good title.

Peer Mentors will be imbedded in a 0300 course and will be assigned to provide services to the students in that course.

They will also work with students to help them thrive in the UA setting and make the most of their experience at the Capstone Center for Student Success.

Mentors are volunteers who agree that its important for students to have positive inter-generational relationships that help build a students self worth.

Peer Mentors are expected to work in our clients homes and bring them into the community to work on skill building activities with them.

Positions are available in Oshkosh and Fond du Lac.*ROLE MODEL: Mentors need to exemplify upstanding behaviors and be a positive influence on clients.

mentoring would take place on a weekday of your choice from around 2 30 - 4 30pm every week with a year long committment to your mentee.

Act as point of contact for potential mentors and mentorship programs who want to get involved with the schoolwide initiative and help broker new partnerships
