Clerk Certification
Must be a Certified municipal clerk (CMC) or have the ability to become certified within one (1) year from the start of employment.

The City Clerk’s Office: We get to work with citizens, elected officials, members of the public, and other city personnel every day.
Actively participate in professional training and enrichment programs and be self-motivated to achieve certification as a Certified Municipal Clerk.

Create correspondence as follow-up to Town Board and Sanitary District meetings and at other times as needed as related to the Clerk’s Office functions.
Oversees the processing of incoming and outgoing mail for the City. Keeps current with technology changes to keep the City Clerk's Office ahead of the curve.
The New Berlin City Clerk / community relations Department consists of one City Clerk, two Deputy City Clerks, and two City Clerk Administrative Specialists.

What We DoThe City Clerk's Office is responsible for providing support to the Mayor and City Council, and services to the community and City departments.
City administration experience required with special consideration given to those who are CMC certified (Certified Municipal Clerk) or MMC certified.
