As an Activity Assistant, you will make a difference in the lives of our residents by facilitating activities and programming at our facility.
The purpose is this position is to implement the activity program as developed by the Activity Coordinator for residents at all levels of care and functioning.
We have a full time opportunity for a qualified candidate who will coordinate the activities programming for our assisted living residents.

Activity Director will assign duties to carry out the calendar activities, as well as contribute ideas on ways to make our residents enjoy their time with us.

General Description Under the direction of the Activity Director, the Activity Assistant assists in carrying out a planned activity program for residents.
Job Description Working in the Activity Department leading and assisting with programs set up by the director as well as transporting residents.
Memory Support Specialist assesses the interests and activity needs of our residents at the time of move-in and throughout their residency with us.
The Activity Assistant completes assigned sections of the activity assessment for new residents within designated timeframe.
Supervision Exercised: In absence of Director of Activities, may provide work direction to one or several Activity Aides or Volunteers.
Assist in carrying out the assigned activity programs as identified in the monthly calendar and as instructed be the Activity Director.
Lifestyle and Leisure specialist assesses the interests and activity needs of our residents at the time of move-in and throughout their residency with us.
Depending on the community, implements room visits for residents that do not attend group activities in the Assisted Living Area. Plan weekly activities.
Performs other duties as assigned and which relate to the success of Elmcroft and the Care, Comfort, and Happiness of our residents.
